A few pictures I took while working Drivers Diagram TG1704 on the last day of Class 508 operation for Southeastern Trains. It was a bitterly cold morning with a thick frost, the train performed without problem. We now operate trains along the Tonbridge-Redhill line on behalf of Southern

A little holiday travelling from Seattle, Washington to New York City using Amtrak's Empire Builder and Lake Shore Limited services between 15th Nov and 25th Nov 2008. A fantastic way to see how huge America is. Not to mention seeing all the different types of weather across the country.

 | 14th Sep 2008 | Denge Sound Mirrors - Romney Marsh, Kent
Pictures taken on a visit to the Denge Sound Mirrors near to Dungeness on the Romney Marsh, Kent. The Mirrors can only be visited on a few days a year when guided tours are arranged. The Mirrors were constructed in the 1920's and pre-date Radar as a method of tracking aircraft by listening for their engine noise.

A visit to Kelvedon Hatch Nuclear Bunker in Essex. An underground bunker for devolved central government in the event of nuclear attack. The bunker extends to 3 floors down to a depth of 120 feet below a hillside. Unfortunatly pictures were not able to be obtained inside.

Pictures taken on 21st July 2007 at St Pancras Station, London as part of a training exercise. On the return to London the train formed the first passenger service to arrive at St Pancras from Kent along the High Speed 1 route. The journey was made from Ashford to St Pancras in 24 minutes.
